Dragon boat racing & biking

Dragon boating is one of the most social sports that you will come across! To create a team, you need 20 paddlers, one drummer and one steersperson.

More than 50 teams participated in the Pálava Dragon Boat Festival last year. The races were dramatic with a stunning atmosphere. You can experience a similar atmosphere of the dragon boat races with us at Brněnská přehrada (Brno Dam Lake) and other water reservoirs in Moravia.

Dragon boat racing is a sport for everyone. It is no exaggeration when we say that even complete beginners can learn the skills for safe and enjoyable paddling extremely quickly and thus be able to enjoy the racing. And this is the precise reason why this new sports discipline has become immensely popular and at the same time suited to corporate and teambuilding events.

This year the 7th Pálavský krpál (Pálava Hills Race) for cycling fans will take place. It will start in the square in Mikulov. The race route takes the participants to Austria and then back to Mikulov. Being part of the Galaxy series, the race is intended in particular for hobby bikers who will gladly measure their strength against others.

In this year will be held also 2nd footrace Okolo Pálavy (Around Pálava). It is intended for the general public of all ages and skill levels.
